A finance team of a British pharmaceutical company dealt with a large number of Excel documents that had to be processed first, i.e. the data was copied from one system to another and then the updated documents had to be uploaded to both systems.
The process was automated in the way that spreadsheets are exported from SAP with all the entries. Each entry from the spreadsheet has to be put into Trintech – web application and the file attached to that has to be downloaded and uploaded back to SAP so that all the attachments saved in Trintech are available in SAP as well.
Human errors that arose when copying data from Excel document into the internal system were eliminated. Two hours of a human daily work were saved.
